Παραδόθηκε στις 2/2 η ετήσια έκθεση υπηρεσιών πληροφοριών των ΗΠΑ (“National Intelligence Estimate”) περί πιθανών απειλών κατά της ασφάλειας των ΗΠΑ. Η 47 σελίδων μη-διαβαθμισμένη έκδοση, περιέχει 1,5 σελίδα περί Ιράν .

• “We continue to assess Iran is keeping open the option to develop nuclear weapons … We do not know, however, if Iran will eventually decide to build nuclear weapons.” …και

• “Iran’s technical advancement, .., strengthens our 2007 NIE assessment that Iran has the scientific, technical and industrial capacity to eventually produce nuclear weapons, making the central issue its political will to do so. ….” (βλ. σελ. 13-14 του παραπάνω pdf)
